I am a Ph.D. candidate under Prof. Kenneth Lohmann at the University of North Carolina, affiliated with the Departments of Biology and Marine Sciences. I will be defending my Ph.D. this April and am currently looking for academic and industry positions to start shorty after my graduation in May, 2022.

 

I am a highly motivated researcher with a strong background in and a passion for marine biology. I have gained expertise in diverse marine research methods, especially in relation to fishes. I am collaborative, dependable, and interpersonal, with strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills. During my career, I have developed extensive experience communicating with diverse audiences through outreach, scientific publications, interviews with the popular press, social media, and liaison with stakeholders. A strong proponent of sustainable and eco-friendly business practices and  marine renewable energy.
